What? Our client is an independent centre of expertise offering high-quality information and education on international taxation. To celebrate the centre’s 75th anniversary, we organised an interactive conference and gala dinner at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam. With this event, they wanted to strengthen its international network and thank its partners and relations for their many years of support.
Target audience? A mix of employees, external researchers, alumni, corporate and government clients, tax advisors and academics.

This is what we did:
- Develop a content programme that would appeal to the administrative staff and international tax experts, with an exciting mix of keynote speakers, dynamic panel discussions and short presentations.
- Find the perfect location: the Beurs van Berlage, Amsterdam’s historical stock exchange building is one of the country’s most famous monuments.
- Set up a successful communication strategy, reaching 20 percent more people than we had set out to do.
- Stimulate interactivity with an appealing cabaret-style setup and playful visitor testimonials.
