Alicante
Not a fan
of winter cold and snowy weather? Then this gorgeous city with its famous
Mediterranean port is just the place you should visit. It is famous for its hot
summers and its surprisingly mild winters and even in January and February
temperatures rising up to 20°C are no exception. None of the locals have seen
one speck of snow in their entire lives unless they were born before 1926 …
London
No matter
how many times you’ve visited London, this city will always surprise you with
its buzzing atmosphere, excellent restaurants and lots and lots of great
shops. Feel like you have already seen
Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and all of the other touristic highlights?
Then just have a stroll down Brick Lane, try the food and enjoy the friendly
vibe at Maltby Street market and end the day with, say, a film and cocktails at
the Aubin Cinema.
Seattle
Great
atmosphere, impressive skyline and lots to see, but nonetheless often
overlooked until the 1960s; you might call Seattle America's Cinderella city
although it's been making up for the lost time in the last few decades. You
should definitely pay a visit to Pike Place Market, hop on one of the ferries
for a boat trip or take a walk at the Waterfront. We promise you won't regret!
Amsterdam
What’s not
to love about this modern city with its unique urban flair? The 17th-century
city centre with its lovely canals, the beautiful Rembrandtplein, the red light
district, … they all contribute to that specific atmosphere you will only find
here. While you here, don’t forget to visit the Anne Frank Museum – a classic,
but still a must-see, and discover the sensational art collection at the Van
Gogh Museum.
Vienna
Austria’s
capital is the place to be for anyone who loves baroque buildings, art nouveau
paintings, opera music and enormous coffee houses. But don’t be mistaken:
Vienna is also a modern capital with innovative museums and trendy
neighbourhoods like the Museumsquartier and Spittelberg. A surprising
combination of historic grandeur and a contemporary urban flair you absolute
have to discover.
